I guess you only have to install it once!
First world problems eh lol..
My Sky 10mb broadband might be getting a workout. My friend also getting X1 has Sky fibre 40+ mb so hes really keen to go digital. I still prefer a disc myself.
Oh very funny ......
I'm with you mate. I played all of these at Eurogamer Earls Court. London FTW :)
Sold me on the system especially BF4 which was incredible.
Day one Forza and BF4 for me.
Enjoy.
Having played DriveClub at EGX I don't think you will see it at 60fps at launch. That's not a bad thing especially if they can get a dead locked 30 ala horizon with no drops or tearing.
The game feels designed for high detail and effects at 30fps similar to Forza Horizon and NFS. If they got to it 60 with all the other cars and details then that would be quite impressive. Im not convinced the PS4s hardware can do that at 60 with that level of detail. The recent EG art...
Yes but he is right.
Internet connection required for patch to play X1 at launch = bad bad bad on N4G.
Internet connection required for patch to play PS4 at launch = hey no problemo - it's normal blah blah on N4G.
You know it.
Yeah that's very interesting. I suspect X1 will use its Hana2 scaler to just match your TVs native ( including 4k as per that Forza on LG tv), but that doesn't help us understand what these games are being rendered at by the GPU.
My Bravia only supports 1080i max so I'm happy it will sort it until I can buy my next tv.
I think that's one thing that people have forgotten or overlooked that the X1 has 8gb of flash non volatile memory in addition to its traditional 8gb volatile and HDD.
It's a well thought out device in my opinion.
And Sensible Soccer of course! :)
I've played the game on X1. IF PS4 is better that will be incredible as the X1 version was glorious.
I think this will come down to resolution not fps.
Gonna get interesting.....
So do I ( I think).
Bets......
Agree.
It is double standards. Both are patches to a launch OS, both are needed to use the consoles features fully or add features, both are not a problem for most people.
I am surprised that so many advertised basic features of the PS4 OS are being added by this patch. Why aren't they in the launch OS already (party chat!!!)? It makes you think they have been tacked on or late to the party in the development cycle. The main thing of course is that they a...
'Steve Gerrard, Gerrard .........'
But at least, as a gamer, you are getting one and chances are you will have a bit more choice of games at a better than launch price.
Boom!
Covered off nearly all the big games and some of the consoles features. Spot on for the western audience.
You can see the money that's for sure.
Beam me up All in One!
No. 3 previous Killzones have killzoned it for me tbh.
It would be easy to just focus on a pretty poster game.
Battlefield is about depth - It is WAR!
(although not as war as perhaps ARMA)
At least it was running with more than one car on the track ;)
GTA V - Directors cut on XB1
Might include DLC and be based on PC version.
Q2/Q3 2014.
Tiger Woods ain't got nothing on this ;)
You know what - I agree.
For me when I heard that the next Xbox was going to at least 6 times the power of the 360 I was happy. Looking at Gears,GTA V, Halo 4 and BF3 on 360 imagine what could be done with all that extra power. If PS4 has a little bit more under the hood that wont ruin my gaming and I'm dead certain that MS's services and online will be superior to what Sony can afford.
I will buy a PS4 late next year once the 2nd round games are out ...
Yes I guess there will be a slight delay.
Give it a few days after launch and some tech site will measure how many milliseconds it is. Even your tv has some latency as does the wireless controller.
